Un amore di orto / A lovely vegetable garden

Le verdure si fanno design! Alcuni agricoltori americani hanno inventato un sistema per "trasformare" le verdure del nostro orto in veri e propri oggetti di desiderio: le verdure, ancora in fase di crescita, vengono inserite in formine di plastica dalle forme piu' insolite; una volta che il pomodoro -o il peperone- riempiono l'intero spazio, lo stampo viene rimosso e l'ortaggio termina il suo processo di maturazione. Da oggi i nostri orti non saranno piu' gli stessi / Vegetables become design! Some entrepreneurial growers from USA are introducing ways to grow vegetables into interesting forms by using a contraption that shapes cherry tomatoes and peppers and into hearts. A small plastic mold developed by Snap ‘N Shape is placed over a young, developing cherry tomato and remains in place as the fruit grows into the allotted space within the mold. Once the tomato fills out, the mold is removed and the heart shaped cherry tomato is allowed to finish ripening. Vegetable gardens won't be the same anymore!
