L'arte dei fiori pressati prende nuova vita grazie all'opera dell'artista spagnolo Ignacio Canales Aracil, il quale trasforma questo materiale delicato in intricate forme scultoree.L'opera, evocativamente intitolata La Fragilità del Tempo, è composta da fiori pressati provenienti dai parchi e giardini della Gran Bretagna e che, successivamente, vengono appattiti e disposti su forme di carta.
Parte dei proventi della vendita serviranno a sostenere due vivai britannici, The Wild About Flowers Nursery nel Devon e Pembroke-Lodge a Richmond Park / Spanish artist Ignacio Canales Aracil takes delicate pressed flowers and transforms them – carefully – into intricate sculptures. Aptly dubbed The Fragility of Time, the pressed flowers and plants are sourced from public parks and gardens in the UK, flattened and woven into paper molds. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the flower sculptures benefits two British nurseries - The Wild About Flowers Nursery in Devon and Pembroke-Lodge in Richmond Park.
